Ugh

How desensitized are we to violence that we have to see 6 year olds getting shot on Law and Order in order to be shocked.
I need to figure out some preparation issues for vocal team. I'm struggling because I prepare before Tuesday night and then I always have small adjustments to make when I hear how the vocal team does it and which harmony the altos are singing, and I get that down in practice, but then it gets frustrating when the alto that's actually singing with me on stage is singing something different. I'm frustrated with myself because once I get up there if she is singing her own thing, I'm struggling to hold the part I know is right. ugh.
But until that last half hour, I had a really great day. Productive. I got to try new stuff. I did well preparing vocally and administratively for practices. And several people encouraged me.
Also Stef is a real friend because she tells people when their is green food in their teeth.
