7 things Meme
1. My husband and I have really weird family connections without being related. His grandparents knew my great aunt and uncle; his aunts sang with mine and we're pretty sure that his Aunt is named after my Great Aunt Joy (I am also)
2. I've worn glasses since I was 8. My first pair was a hand-me down pair from my sister that were large, round, pink and plastic.
3. The same summer I got glasses, I also got a perm. It was a very awkward year.
4. My dog's name was Max. He died on my first wedding anniversary when he ate two bottles of his muscle relaxants. We call it Max's assisted suicide since the cat Rufus knocked the pills off the counter. Oh and Max still lived at my mom's house at the time.
5. I was part of the gifted program in elementary school which I loved. Unstructured learning, self motivation, it was wonderful.
6. During one trip to old Busch Stadium, I kicked an entire coke down the stairs from the top row of the stadium. Dad was not happy and I don't think he bought my siblings and me another coke.
7. My first job was scooping ice cream and making shaved ice in a shack by the highway. My future husband bought a lot of heath ice cream before I finally said, "are you going to take me to a movie or what?"

I didn't see this until yesterday.
Awesome :)
We probably paid $10 total to be in the "front row". May not have had money to get another soda.
Dad & I don't remember that happening; doesn't mean it didn't!
