Caution! Kids Throwing Rocks

Due to the tragic events of last week when John got back from Maine, he, along with other members of the team, decided to change the service for Sunday. It ended up being both hopeful and appropriate. I was thoroughly impressed with and appreciative of the worship team and vocal team's support of that decision. There wasn't any, "but I worked hard on that solo can't we do it" kind of stuff.
I ended up being Michele's page turner as the piece was long and piano driven. I endeavored to turn pages with excellence and support Michele. I was also impressed with her as she was doing something new and pushing herself to sightread on Saturday, which she told me was something she had not done a lot of. It was a long weekend, but at the same time a very hopeful one and a later Christmas brainstorming meeting was exciting.
I am a little concerned with myself. I'm tired. I slept a really long time yesterday, but on the days that I don't come to MCC even if I sleep well, I am not feeling caught up and I'm wondering if anyone has ideas for refreshment.

By your intriguing title, I would presume you were taking a walk through the shady part of town when children began lopping sharp rocks at your head.
